Gabrielle Poston is the founder of NexStar Staffing and brings over 18 years of experience in recruitment and sourcing, as well as marketing, sales, account management and partnerships. She specializes in the direct placement of professionals in human resources, sales, business development, finance, product, training, technology, account management and marketing and has filled mid-level to executive positions across a variety of industries and geographies. Her approach is collaborative, and she works closely with employers to review each open position, understand the desired skill and experience level for each and develop a unique strategy.
She utilizes a multi-faceted approach that includes strategic and customized sourcing for each role; comprehensive interviews to garner a solid understanding of each candidates’ experience, abilities and goals; and finally, a detailed overview and complete interview transcription accompanying all recommended candidates. This customized approach ensures that recommended candidates not only meet or exceed each company’s key hiring requirements but also seamlessly align with the organization’s culture and team chemistry. Gabrielle is passionate about building solid relationships with both candidates and employers, which allows her to achieve the desired goals for both.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Gabrielle graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, attending the Eli Broad School of Business. She began her professional career in Chicago, Illinois as a sales representative for a global third-party logistics provider, followed by media planning at a digital advertising firm in Los Angeles. She then moved up to San Francisco and spent almost a decade at CBS working in Product Marketing, building and cultivating relationships with top advertising agencies and clients. Her efforts were focused on crafting custom sales and sponsorship packages for clients specifically around their specific goals and objectives and ensuring client expectations were exceeded. She was also responsible for growing her bi-coastal team and managed recruiting efforts, processes and procedures for doing so successfully. She moved on from CBS to create her own start-up with her husband, centered around wineries and wine: WhichWinery.com. At WhichWinery she was focused on growing presence via partnerships, marketing strategies as well as execution, and, of course, recruiting internationally to grow their remote based team. She now resides in sunny San Diego and enjoys partnering with companies on recruiting efforts to grow their teams with all-star talent.
HOBBIES & INTERESTS
When she’s not recruiting, Gabrielle enjoys spending time with family, wine tasting with her husband – especially trying new wines, making banana muffins on the weekend with her little ones, surfing, playing Bunco with friends and reading books overflowing with humor that leave her in tears from laughing so hard!
